24 hour Relay.  Friday the school hosted the 24 hour relay put on by the National Honor Society.  Kids at the school form teams.  Each team has at least one member walking around the track continuously from 8:00 AM Friday to 8:00 AM Saturday.  The event raises money for cancer.  Both Quinn and Josephine were on teams this year and camped out with their friends on the soccer field.  Big Even.  Bridget and I joined to walk laps from 4:00 - 5:00 PM and from midnight to 1:00 AM.  We took a break and went to Colabo's for dinner with Kerry and Mona and then took a two hour nap.  It was very exciting to wake up and go over to the school at midnight and see so much action.  What a great community.  There were hundreds of kids everywhere and plenty of kids, teachers and parents walking around the track.

This was a special year for this event because of Emma.  Emma was there herself and led the final lap around the track at 8 in the morning.  Klaus, Emma's dad, came in the morning and spoke some works that Janne (her mom) had written.  Great message.  Great Family!  Klaus had to go to work, but came back and walked some more and then slept in the tent.  Janne walked for 24 hours straight.

Bridget and Quinn Just returned from Japan where the mighty Eagles finished 4th out of 6 at their APAC tournament.  The flew with the team on Wednesday and spent 5 days in Kobe Japan.
