Yes, as Winter 2010-2011 rolled around and Rob & Bridget decided it was time to teach overseas, we  visited San Francisco for the week-long international recruitment fair in February, and emerged this spring with tickets to China and a two year job at the Shangai American School  We finished the school year sandwiched between skiing weekends at Winter Park and began our packing process for China.

We now find ourselves in July, the house rented, our belongings packed into our new garage, and ready to head off for the adventure of a life time.  We had a wonderful visit with family - both the Matuscheks and McShains on the East Coast.  The Boucks threw a truly memorable going away party where we said good bye to our friends in attendance and are now frantically saying farewells to all that we can.

Bridget will leave on Saturday, July 24th with Josephine and Quinn to return Marta to her home in Leon, Spain.  Rob leaves on July 24th for Laguna Beach to be entertained by Jennifer.  We then all leave, headed East and West to meet in Shanghai on the 29th of July.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who are supporting us on this massive adventure...Here we go!

Wow! What a great opportunity for you and your family!
I enjoy reading about your adventures! We were in Beijing this summer and a few times in the past, but never in Shanghai. When you plan on a trip to Beijing, let me know and I can give you a few tips. Our summer travel blog is here:
Tom is now retired, I am in the costume shop at Denver School of the Arts, Kevin is still in high frequency trading in Chicago and Ian is now in Hollywood!

Take care!
